Megan Schwann is the Chief Operating Officer of Bryan & Company LLP. In her role, Megan leads the shared services functions of the firm including Accounting & Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, and Marketing. A proven operational and strategic leader, Megan’s focus is on navigating the organization through growth and change to position Bryan & Co. as a leading Western Canadian law firm. She brings a unique blend of analytical, collaborative, and diplomatic approaches to the team and is not afraid to challenge the status quo to better the organization and its people.
Before joining Bryan & Co, Megan spent 14 years with an Alberta-based talent management firm beginning as a management consultant and then transitioning her focus internally to help scale and grow the business. Holding senior finance and corporate development roles, she was integral to M&A activity and post-merger integrations, helping take a regional firm to a national firm with 14 offices across Canada that successfully sold to a global publicly traded entity.
As a skilled relationship builder who is passionate about supporting her community, Megan has played an active role in many local initiatives. She served as a member of the Stollery Women’s Network Fundraising & Donor Recognition Committee, President of the Junior League of Edmonton and Treasurer of Edmonton’s YWCA.
Megan is a Certified Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta.
