River Valley Walking Tour

Join Zena Leclercq, NorQuest College's Land-Based Learning Coordinator, for a guided walking tour through the Edmonton River Valley.

This immersive experience invites participants to learn from the land while exploring local medicinal plants, deepening their understanding of relationships with plant and animal relatives, and engaging with teachings rooted in the natural world. Through observation, reflection, and discussion, participants will gain a greater appreciation for the knowledge and connections that the land offers. 

Route: Edmonton River Valley (wheelchair accessible) 

Meet-up in SFCL Atrium at 9:00 am and commute together to Muttart LRT Stop or if you're driving, meet at Henrietta Muir Edwards Park parking lot at 9:30 am. 
 
Physicality: Approximately 1.5 hours of easy walking with several stops along the route
