Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day at NorQuest College

You’re invited to join us in honouring the vibrant cultures, traditions, and voices of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples this National Indigenous Peoples Day.

Come together with fellow students, staff, and faculty for a powerful day of celebration, learning, and community. Whether you come to listen, learn, participate, or simply be present, this day is for all of us to reflect, respect, and celebrate.

Activities include:

  • Live cultural performances – drumming, dancing, and singing
  • Métis dot art workshop – drop in and create your own traditional-inspired artwork
  • Traditional food sharing – bannock and tea
  • Medicine Wheel Teaching – register in advance to take part in a guided workshop and create your own beaded Medicine Wheel while engaging in meaningful teachings about the Medicine Wheel and its cultural significance.
  • Indigenous artifacts display - explore traditional items and learn the stories and cultural significance behind them
  • Educational and related resources - provided by the NorQuest Library

We look forward to seeing you there!
