
Nike Fabiyi (she/her) is a Nigerian/Métis woman and an accomplished development professional with over eight years’ experience in public-facing roles within the public and non-profit sectors. With a strong track record in fund development and relationship-building, Nike has successfully led large-scale funding initiatives that supported educational growth, community investment, and reconciliation.
Nike holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Management from MacEwan University and has worked with a range of organizations including Trade Winds to Success, an Indigenous-led non-profit that provides pre-trades training and individualized supports to Indigenous Albertans pursuing careers in the trades.
In her role as the Partnership and Inclusion Lead at the Colbourne Institute for Inclusive Leadership, she is focused on growing its network of clients who understand the value that EDIA practices and policies bring to their workplaces. Having Co-Chaired her EDI committee at a previous employer she understands while this work isn’t always easy, it’s life changing. Outside of work, Nike enjoys spending time with her Rottweiler puppy Mia, trying out new recipes, and crushing her reading goals.
