Wellness Wednesdays

Wellness Wednesdays is an initiative run by the Centre for Growth & Harmony and the Students’ Association of NorQuest College.

Wellness Wednesdays

Every first and 3rd Wednesday of each month, students can join us online for an hour of all thing wellness. We begin with a group check-in to share how our we are doing and to introduce ourselves, and then together we explore an area of wellness and/or self-care. Students are encouraged to lead the way and to have a voice in choosing the type of activities we dive into. After trying our hands at one or two activities, we make a plan for incorporating wellness into our schedule for the next two weeks.

Over time, students will have a range of skills and knowledge to use by themselves or with friends and family to foster health and wellness in everyday life. Activities will range from yoga, meditation, journaling and crafts, to physical activity/sports, menu planning, and finding community resources.

Via Blackboard The room will be open 15 mins early and we’ll get started right at noon.

You don’t need to register to attend Wellness Wednesdays, just click the link above and join us whenever you can. If you can’t make it for the whole hour, no worries – we’d love to see you for however long you’re able to be there for!
