System Setup

Before logging into Moodle, you will need to make sure you have a compatible browser. Recommended browsers when using Moodle include:

You may need some of the following software to view some files, media, or other items that may be available in your course:

  • Adobe Reader
  • Java
  • Windows Media Player

If your course has a Moodle component, you will receive an email to your MyMail account which contains your username and password. This is the same username and password that you use to login to computers at the college. If you are an online student, contact Computer Commons for further assistance.

Frequently Asked Questions

After you register in a course, it will take up to 48 hours to have the course name to show under 'My Courses'. If it has been over 48 hours, email Enrolment at enrolment@norquest.ca with your full name, student ID, home address, home phone number, and the course name that is not listed.

Your instructor has not uploaded the course content yet. Contact your instructor directly for further information.

You can find your instructor on the course page in Moodle or in your weekly schedule in MyQuest. You can also email Computer Commons at computercommons@norquest.ca with your full name, student ID, home address, home phone number, and the course name.

To log in to the Mosby videos, you must first log in when off-campus. Check the library’s FAQs for tips on accessing the library’s resources. For further help on accessing videos and databases, contact the library at library@norquest.ca, call 780.644.6070, or drop in.

  • Students retain full access until 14 days after the course end date.
  • After the 14 days mentioned above, student access changes to read only for 165 days.
  • After 165 days, students will no longer have access to the course.
