System Setup

Before logging into Moodle, you will need to make sure you have a compatible browser. Recommended browsers when using Moodle include:

You may need some of the following software to view some files, media, or other items that may be available in your course:

  • Adobe Flash
  • Adobe Reader
  • Java
  • Windows Media Player

If your course has a Moodle component, you will receive an email to your MyMail account which contains your username and password. Your username and password are usually:

Username: firstinitial+lastname+3 distinct numbers (eg: jsmith123) *

Password: norquest+last 4 digits of your student ID number
(eg. norquest4321)

*Note: This is the same username you use for MyQuest and MyMail.
