The online Medical Office Assistant program was a great first step in my post-secondary education. I found it very convenient to be able to work from home at my own pace, while still having the structure and deadlines of an in-person course. The teachers were very helpful and always responded to any questions I had in a timely manner. I liked that the program was fast-paced without being too stressful. I would recommend this program to any individual looking to start out in the medical field.

If you've never taken an online class, you likely have questions.

Which online option is most similar to in-person learning? Real-time learning is the closest option to in-person learning. The only difference is you are learning online versus coming to campus for class. In real-time, you can see your instructor and classmates, ask questions, and actively participate in the class, just like you could in an in-person class.
Can anyone take an online course? Online courses are designed for students who desire flexibility and convenience in their studies. All online courses are fully accredited and are considered equivalent to on-campus courses. Anyone who is eligible to take an on-campus course can register in an online course.
I don’t have a computer at home. Can I still take an online course? Yes, as long as you have access to a computer that is connected to the Internet. Some students use computers where they work or attend school.
I have more questions. Who can I talk to? You can contact a student recruiter by email: student.recruiter@norquest.ca or phone: 780.644.5927. The Student Recruitment office is open from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm MST, Monday through Friday. We are here to help you!
