Small Business Launchpad

NorQuest College's Small Business Launchpad is perfect for teaching entrepreneurs how to write the business plan, marketing plan, and how to pitch their ideas to investors.

This program is broken into three courses—Idea Evaluation and Entrepreneurship; Money and Marketing; and The Pitch and Sale—for a total of 12 hours of learning for each course.

What to expect from the program

You'll learn what it means to be an entrepreneur and what your business idea can look like. You'll develop business and marketing plans that you can take from this course and directly apply. You'll learn to use and talk about financial reporting and your finances. And you'll learn practical ways to research and study the market place, develop your business and marketing plan, and then roll it all into a useful business pitch that you can deliver.

Complete this training in six Saturdays for $1,199.

Courses

Idea Evaluation and Entrepreneurship

The Idea Evaluation and Entrepreneurship course is designed to provide you with a clear understanding of what being an entrepreneur is all about. Learn what current tools and resources can help you prepare your business plan, launch a new idea or expand on your current one.

Schedule: Saturdays – February 26 and March 5, 2022 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Money and Marketing

The Money and Marketing course will provide you with the tools and knowledge required to understand financial terms, financial statements, and teach how to develop a marketing plan and build a brand strategy to sell your idea.

Schedule: Saturdays – March 12 and March 19, 2022 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Pitch and Sale

The Pitch and Sale course will teach about financial forecasting and presenting ideas to financial institutions or investors.

Schedule: Saturdays – March 26 and April 2, 2022 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
