Customized Simulations for Practice - XHLT 2000

In this unique, learner-driven workshop, simulated learning is customized for specific health-care providers to support continued professional development, providing an opportunity for learners to practise skills to ensure high-quality care. Designed for post-licence health-care providers (nurses, health care aides, nursing attendants, and community support workers), learners will review skills specific to their context. This could include medication administration, patient care, or communication, as determined by an initial consultation.  At the end of the workshop, participants will receive a certificate of completion to keep for their learning records. Note: This course may be offered on campus or in the learner environment in our mobile unit (based on availability).
