Behaviours for Promoting EDI in Organizations - XBUS 3610

This course will focus on the critical concepts and behaviours important for sustaining equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) objectives in organizational work and includes topics such as microaggressions, unconscious biases, allyship, and solidarity for EDI work. Course participants will explore the most pervasive behavioural barriers to inclusion and equity in the workplace. By leveraging the experiences of participants through discussions and group activities, the sources and mechanics of these behaviours and their impact and cyclicity will be explored. Participants will learn strategies for increasing awareness and mitigating the impact of behaviours that impede inclusion and equity in the workplace.
