Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Hospitality Institute

Launched at NorQuest College October 1, 2014, the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Hospitality Institute is a unique partnership supporting our vibrant hospitality and service industry sector.

The Edmonton region is in a period of unprecedented growth and optimism, which brings with it surging demand for skilled employees. With the announcement and construction of several major projects, including the Edmonton Arena District, Edmonton’s hospitality sector is poised for dramatic growth to support the new developments.

The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Hospitality Institute will answer the demand for skilled workers trained in world-class hospitality and customer-service skills. The institute will develop and deliver a comprehensive suite of hospitality-industry training programs in a broad range of disciplines needed for employment. Each year, hundreds of students will gain the skills and training needed for bright career futures with hospitality employers throughout the region.
