The Energy Management program focuses on the business side of the energy industry to rapidly familiarize students with innovative and emerging technology trends such as project management, microgeneration, supply chain management, and community energy and emissions planning. The interdisciplinary approach of this program provides learners with a suite of skills to be effective in an industry that innovates frequently.

Sandra Moore, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Environment, and Technology is proud to see NorQuest College taking on this new and innovative program. “Alberta excels in various forms of energy from oil and gas to solar and wind and this new program provides an opportunity for students with limited energy experience or those looking to transition from technical careers in the energy industry to be a part of Alberta’s energy future.”

Graduates of the Energy Management Diploma will go on to work in a variety of settings including electrical utility companies, government, consulting firms, oil and gas, renewable energy, and facilities management. This unique program prepares students for many different careers in the energy industry including project managers, energy advisors, energy analysts, and energy systems workers.
