Inclusion Fusion is back and we are more excited than ever!

Join us from March 19 – 23 to talk about issues of racism, discrimination, and inclusion. Get together with students, faculty, and staff for a week of activities and celebrate the rich diversity of our NorQuest community.

Monday, March 19

Groovin’ for Inclusion

Get your groove on with music from around the world and wrapping up with drumming and a mini round dance.

Tuesday, March 20

SANQC Collective Art Project

Join SANQC for a collaborative art project led by Happy Vyas! Students will represent themselves through a piece of art that will be added together with pieces from other students to show the diverse community that makes up NorQuest.

Wednesday, March 21

Art with Impact Movies 4 Mental Health

M4MH is a two-hour workshop that focuses on empowering students, educators and community members to gain a better understanding of mental health within their environment.

Films engage with the audience on the topic of mental health, inspiring and empowering them to tell their own stories and access resources available to them.

World Water Day An Indigenous Perspective

Visit our booth in the Atrium between 9am and 5pm and fill your water bottle with clean water, treated using the same treatment methods as the ancestral prairie Cree people.

Friday, March 23

NorQuest Community Dialogue on Islam

Join our community dialogue on Islam and learn about the diverse communities of interpretation that are typically associated with Islam and Muslims globally.

In this session the facilitator will also help us gain a deeper understanding as to the origins and manifestations of Islamophobia in Canada today.

Listening Campaign Exhibit

An exhibition featuring the work of students who participated in the Listening Campaign during Black History month. This artwork will contribute to a living repository of lived experiences of the Black community within NorQuest and from elders in the community.

Human Library – Don’t judge a book by its cover!

Come and have a real live conversation with someone who has an amazing story to tell. Reserve a 45-minute session in advance – space is limited!
