Reset Passwords

You may need to have your password reset so you can log on to your computer and access your MyQuest, MyMail and Moodle accounts.

Go to the Computer Commons Help Desk in the Learner Centre. Present your NorQuest student ID card or other valid form of photo identification and the Computer Commons staff will reset your password.

Note: If you are calling, ensure you have your student ID number, home address, and phone number available before contacting Computer Commons. Email requests must include this information.

Moodle and College Computer Forgotten Password Help

Once you have logged in and set your password for Moodle or the college computers, you are encouraged to register with the Self-Service Password Reset. This will allow you to reset your password if you forget it in the future. To do this:

  • Go to https://passwordregister.norquest.ca and type your User ID
  • On the "Stayed Signed in?" screen, click on Yes
  • On the "Office 365" page, you can set up ways that you can recover your login information. You need to set up at least two options available. Click on "Set it up now" to enter the phone number, email and/or security question.
  • Select finish when you have completed the set-up

Reminder: Your Moodle, College Computer and WiFi login credentials are all the same.

MyQuest Forgotten Password Help

Once you are logged on to MyQuest you can set up a security question that will allow you to reset your password if you forget in the future. To do this:

  • Click on My System Profile from the Main Menu
  • Select a question from the drop-down list that you will be able to answer in the event you forget your password
  • Type the answer to the selected question in the Response textbox
  • Click Save
