This course covers the goals and essential components of programs for school-age children. The historical and social influences of such programs in Canada will be examined. Students will gain insight into the role of caregivers for school-age children while examining their own personal qualities and philosophy for working in this field.Prerequisite: ELCC 1000 or completion of NQC ELCC certificate Restricted to Early Learning and Childcare Diploma
