Students learn the foundation and guidelines for an effective process of employee recruitment, evaluation, and compensation. This course explores competency assessments, performance reviews, individual career planning, monetary and non-monetary benefits, and ongoing feedback to ensure that the HR plan is competitive and fair. Students will demonstrate the use of a number of tools used by the human resource department, suggest different methods and approaches to improve performance in an organization, and identify issues of concern to a company and recommend methods to improve results.Prerequisite: BUSD 1009 Restricted to Business Admin, Therapeutic Rec and Open Studies
