Clinical placement

You may need access to a vehicle and/or need to travel to complete your clinical practice courses in a variety of settings.

  • Instructor-led clinical placement (NPRT 1001) will occur in the Edmonton area for a four-week rotation and shifts may include a mix of days and evenings on weekdays.
  • Your preceptored clinical placement (NPRT 2006 and NPRT 2007 ) may be arranged in or close to your community. You will follow your preceptor’s schedule, which may include day, evening, or night shifts, and may include weekends and holidays.

Note: The in-person delivery of this program meets the eligibility criteria for the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program for international students.
