Students’ Association
For information:
The Students’ Association is responsible for administering student affairs at NorQuest College, and is located beside the cafeteria on the 8th floor of the Main Building.
We are your representatives, advocating on your behalf to the College, government, Student Finance Board, and other organizations regarding issues that concern students.
The Students’ Association organizes a variety of social, cultural, and educational events within the College. We strive to continue to improve, and put on the kind of events that you want to attend.
There are many volunteer opportunities and committees that you can become involved in while you are studying at the College. You may also want to consider becoming a Students’ Council member or representing students in your program area or regional site. The Students’ Association also distributes a monthly student newspaper, The Quest, containing student submissions, upcoming events and activities, and information about issues that affect you. Get involved and make a difference in student life.
As part of our commitment to the well-being of our students, the Students’ Association offers subsidized membership at the YMCA. We also provide a health and dental insurance plan to all full-time fee paying students (including those funded by Canada Student Loan, and other non-grant funded students) enrolled in programs 8 weeks or longer. Please or call 780.644.6253 or visit the website www.gallivan.ca for more information about this mandatory plan.
The Students’ Association is here to address your needs, and your feedback is always welcome. Call, visit, or email anytime. Have a great year!
