Program Overview
This 16-week program gives students the prerequisites for entry into the Aboriginal Community Support Worker program. Students improve their academic skills in reading and writing while learning about the community support worker field.
Career Potential
Upon successful completion of the Prep for Aboriginal Community Support Worker program, students can look forward to learning in an entry-level human service career program. The Aboriginal Community Support Worker program can be the gateway to employment in a human service agency or to further learning. Students will gain an introduction to the skills necessary for helping individuals, families, or communities.

Credential
After successfully completing this program, graduates will be awarded a NorQuest Prep for Aboriginal Community Support Worker certificate.
