NorQuest's
role in the post-secondary education system is both unique
and essential. For many students NorQuest acts as a stepping-stone,
equipping individuals with the educational qualifications
to progress to the workplace or onto further education.
The NorQuest College experience enables
adult students to embrace new challenges and overcome obstacles.
With daytime and evening classes, work experience opportunities,
and individualized learning plans, NorQuest gives students
more options in achieving their employment and educational
goals. NorQuest's flexible full time, part time, and distance
delivery program formats allow learners to pursue an education
while working, raising a family, or residing in rural areas.
NorQuest has four campuses: Edmonton
Downtown, Edmonton Westmount, Stony Plain, and Wetaskiwin.
In addition, learners can access NorQuest through community
learning sites in Drayton Valley, Edson, Hinton, Westlock,
Whitecourt, and Rocky Mountain House. Programming and support services are also
available for students with special needs. Whether it is on
campus in Stony Plain, on the worksite in Grande Cache, or
online, NorQuest's distance education technology provides
accessible education in over 150 communities.
