There was a time in my life when there were always limitations; everywhere I turned there were obstacles. Then, I realized that I do have choices and was led to NorQuest College.
My experience has been phenomenal. The instructors are so supportive. They understand where I am coming from. I feel I can be honest with them. My goal is to give back what was given to me. I speak for many women who have walked the same path and share the same dream to succeed. Without the help of the programs and services offered at NorQuest, it would have been impossible to imagine achieving what I have achieved. Now I am enrolled full time at the University of Alberta in Sociology and Native Studies, heading towards Aboriginal Law.
