Four public members join the NorQuest College Board of Governors
EDMONTON – Advanced Education and Technology Minister Honourable Doug Horner appointed the following four public members to the Board of Governors for NorQuest College.
“We are excited to have these four passionate and highly qualified community leaders join the NorQuest College Board of Governors,” said Board of Governors’ Chair, Wendy Kinsella. “They join the Board at a time when the College is embracing its new role as the Edmonton region’s community college and is planning a major campus redevelopment in downtown Edmonton to meet the growing demand for foundational learning and career programs with certificate and diploma credentials.”
These new appointments mark the end of the terms for retired public members Steven LePoole, Ross Undershute and Gail Stepanik-Keber. The fourth appointment is to replace Dr. Jodi Abbott who resigned from the Board in early 2010 to become President and CEO of NorQuest College. Board members may serve up to two three-year terms.
