Welcome to Interactive English

Interactive English – Volume 1 is a resource for teaching English as a second language (ESL). It features seven stories about a couple of lively characters, Max and Lucy, told through video, audio, and text. The stories are designed to develop reading, listening, vocabulary, and cultural literacy skills for students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

This skill development is supported by interactive texts and activities. Supplementary options include classroom-ready, printable worksheets. Language instruction is imbedded in real-life scenarios, such as finding a job or visiting a doctor, set within a Canadian cultural context.
