Overview: These Rules and Regulations apply to the “Tuition Prize”, which will be awarded to winning visitors who enter our tuition draw at our website between September 2025 and September 2026.
Tuition Prize: $500 tuition credit, which may be applied to tuition fees for credit courses only and may not be applied to various ancillary fees (such as Student Services fees).
Rules:
- No purchase is necessary. To enter the contest, an individual must complete and submit an entry through www.norquest.ca/path between September 2025 and September 2026.
- She/he/they must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (international students are not eligible).
- To claim the Tuition Prize, the selected entrant must meet all entrance requirements or course prerequisites. She/he/they must be attending classes at NorQuest College by January 2027. Normal admissions criteria apply, and the selected entrant is not guaranteed admission into a program or registration in a course. An exemption may apply due to waitlists.
- A maximum total of one entry per person will be accepted. The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
- Open to individuals who are eligible to attend NorQuest College, except employees of NorQuest College. The contest is not open to Quebec residents. Individuals must be 18 years or older within the first term of their program or under 18 years of age with a high school diploma.
- A random selection will be made the following week from all eligible entries received, and all decisions concerning the selection process are final.
- One $500 tuition credit prize will be awarded per term. Before being declared as the winner of the Tuition Prize, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing, mathematical question posed during a pre-arranged telephone interview or by mail. The selected entrant will be contacted within five business days of the contest closing date.
- Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to sign a copy of these rules and regulations as the declaration and release form:
- Confirming compliance with contest rules and acceptance of the Tuition Prize as offered;
- Acknowledging the non-responsibility of NorQuest College and the Tuition Prize suppliers and their agents concerning injuries, accident, loss, or misfortune relating to the Tuition Prize;
- Acknowledging NorQuest College and their agents' right to publish and broadcast the winner's picture, name, address, voice, and statements without further compensation other than the Tuition Prize offered.
- All entries become the property of NorQuest College, and none will be returned.
- The Tuition Prize must be accepted as offered and no substitutions are allowed. The Tuition Prize is not transferable and is not convertible to cash. In the event of the Tuition Prize recipient's withdrawal from a full-time program or part-time studies course, no cash refund will be made. The tuition credit voucher cannot be used towards tuition already paid if the student has pre-registered for a course/program and has paid a deposit/full tuition.
- NorQuest College reserves the right to cancel this promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever.
- If a selected entrant is unwilling or unable to comply with the contest rules, that entrant will be disqualified, and another entry will be drawn from the remaining eligible entries received.
- By claiming the Tuition Prize, selected entrants waive the right to claim any costs of winning the Tuition Prize including, but not limited to, all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem any prize, and bear in full any liability which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem said prize.
- The contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and tax regulations.
