NorQuest teams up with Cal Poly
to offer some Lean education
Interesting and dynamic are two of the terms used to describe a recent workshop hosted by the Centre for Excellence in Print Media at NorQuest College.
The two-day workshop on September 8 and 9 entitled ‘Lean Printing: Pathways to Success’, was presented by the Graphic Communication Institute at California Polytechnic State University. Renowned Cal Poly professors Kevin Cooper and Ken Macro presented the material to 22 print managers and coordinators from Edmonton, Calgary, Wainwright and Ontario.
"This is the largest group we’ve presented to,” says Cooper. “We’ve taught this course in California, Colorado and Behran, and next month we’ll be in Amsterdam."
