Tournament History

In 2003, Gary Mar championed this event to raise awareness and funding to improve the quality of health care for Alberta seniors. Today, his commitment remains.

NorQuest College is honoured to be the recipient of this charity golf tournament for the fourth year.

The 2010 tournament was a tremendous success, raising over $150,000! These funds enabled NorQuest College to expand their Interdisciplinary Simulation Centre to include a home/senior care setting so students have the opportunity to learn in an environment where many of them will be working. An added benefit is that our students can now focus on their communication skills with patients and their families. These skills are crucial for front-line care workers, especially in the continuing care sector, in providing care that meets the needs of seniors.
