- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Builds on the skills learned in Green Belt Training and is designed for individuals who work full-time as a process improvement practitioner within an organization. The Lean Six Sigma Black Belts are provided the training to deal with complex cross functional projects. Instruction is application focused, requiring learners to successfully complete two projects while completing the classroom and certification portion of the training. The focus of the instruction is knowledge transfer demonstrated by real time application of technical problem solving skills.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
This training is best suited for leaders, supervisors, associates, and front-line staff who can dedicate a minimum of 1.5 days of their work week to apply the DMAIC tools to support their project while completing the classroom and certification portion of the training. Upon completion of the project and certification exercise, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is provided.

Yellow Belts are trained on the basic Lean Six Sigma tools that will solve 80% of your problems. The Yellow Belt team members are essential to gathering data; participating in problem solving; and adding their expertise to the exploration process.

Reprocessing is the cleaning, decontamination and sterilization of reusable medical devices. Medical sterilization and reprocessing practices must follow strict policies and standard operating procedures in order to prevent and control the spread of infection.
Upon completing the theory and practicum components, you will be prepared to qualify for and write the exam that certifies you as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician. The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) is the Canadian certifying body that issues the certified medical device reprocessing technician (CMDRT) credential.

This course will teach you how to correctly analyze data that is not normally distributed, also called non-normal data for the purposes of Capability Analysis. You will be taught how to recognize the 4 different categories of non-normality, what causes it in your process, and how to correct it. If you plan to acquire or buy rifles and/or shotguns or apply for your Minors License, you will need this course. Successful students will receive the necessary paperwork to apply for a Non-Restricted Possession & Acquisition Firearms License.
Please bring a piece of identification (driver’s license, passport, birth certificate, status card, Possession Only Firearms License (if you have one), Alberta Health Care card or W.I.N. card) to the first class. We will require your mailing and physical address – if you live in the country, that will include your Legal Land Description as it appears on your power bill.

- Introduction to Process Mapping

- Lean Application Specialist Training
Lean Application Specialists are developed specifically for the manufacturing industry so the employees doing the work understand how to prioritize process improvement opportunities and understand how to apply Lean tools to their business processes to ensure understanding and process improvements are realized. The course is designed to follow the adult learning model TPAR (Train-Plan-Apply-Review).
This training helps with quickly implementing major cultural change in an organization by educating staff on basic Lean tools and techniques. Training is conducted on site so the tools and techniques can be applied as they are learned on the plant floor, construction site or administration areas. Training will be conducted over seven day. A certificate of completion is provided.
Project site support through Six Sigma Canada inc. is recommended to support the team members during the apply phase.

- Lean Master Trainer
Lean Master Trainer is a position within manufacturing at the management level that assists in creating a self-sustaining Lean organization. The Lean Master Training has the ability to provide instruction to the Lean Application Specialists and provide guidance and mentorship on the application of Lean tools. The training requires the Lean Master Trainer to complete a minimum of four approved Lean projects and complete three days of training and provide instruction on the Lean Specialist course. The days of mentorship to achieve the Lean Master Trainer will be customized to meet the organizations desired outcomes.

This course will teach you advanced regression models and potential problems associated with certain models and Full Factorial DOE. You will learn to reduce cost of running the Full Factorial DOE. The content in this course is beneficial to the manufacturing industry.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt to Black Belt Upgrade "Part B"
This course will teach you advanced DOE concepts on Response Surface Method (RSM), using central composite design. This DOE is used when all input variables are continuous or quantitative and significant curvature is detected in the process output. The content in this course is beneficial to the manufacturing industry.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training Week 1
This training provides your employees with a standardized approach to problem solving for the purpose of continuous improvement. Lean Six Sigma methodology and DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) is used when a product or process is in existence but is not meeting the customers’ specifications, or is not performing adequately. The Lean Six Sigma DMAIC approach combines statistical and quality management tools to ensure that processes exhibit peak performance, resulting in a dramatic increase in customer satisfaction, productivity, and shared values.
