NorQuest College offers a wide variety of bridging and prep programs designed to build on your existing education and work experience to get you the professional credentials you need to work or continue on to further post-secondary education programs.

  • Prepare for required certification examinations for Licensed Practical Nurses, Pharmacy Technicians, and Apprentices.
  • Improve your English skills and gain the language requirements to enter the workplace or further post-secondary programs.
  • Upgrade your academics to enter one of NorQuest's certificate or diploma programs.
  • Bridge to Health CareersFull-time (FT)

    In 4 months, improve your English and gain the necessary skills and language prerequisites to apply to NorQuest's Health Care Aide and other health care programs. In addition to reading, writing, and academic skills, you will focusing on medical terminology and therapeutic communication skills.

  • Bridge to Transit OperatorsFull-time (FT)

    NOTE: This program is under review for the 2013/14 Academic Year, and will not be offered.

    In just 4 months, develop your listening, speaking, and customer service skills to prepare you for success as a transit operator in any of Canada's transit systems. Appropriate for ESL students with a high intermediate level of English proficiency.

  • ESL Bridge to Business CareersFull-time (FT)

    NOTE: This program is under review for the 2013/14 Academic Year, and will not be offered.

    Prepare for success in NorQuest College's Administrative Professional Certificate and Hospital Unit Clerk programs by improving your English skills, particularly in the vocabulary used by office professionals.

  • Pharmacy Technician BridgingPart-time (PT), Distance, Hybrid

    This program was developed to assist individuals who have been performing the duties of a pharmacy technician, but did not graduate from an accredited program. This 4-course program gives working pharmacy technicians a standard base of education before sitting the Pharmacy Board of Canada (PEBC) entry-to-practice exam.
