NorQuest College helps you fast-track your supply chain career by recognizing your previous relevant experience.
What is PLAR?
Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) evaluates and validates your skills and knowledge. It is designed to recognize the experience you’ve gained while working in the industry, whether in Canada or elsewhere in the world.
When you successfully complete an assessment, you will earn a digital badge from NorQuest College. Assessments can be completed online or in person at the college.
For supply chain, there are four competency assessments available through PLAR:
- Procurement
- Transportation
- Operations Management
- Warehousing
Each assessment takes approximately two hours to complete. Study materials are available online, and accepted participants can also access a refresher course and pre-assessment support.

You can submit your application below. Once your application is received, NorQuest will review your eligibility and contact you with next steps. If you are accepted, you will receive information on how to prepare for the assessment, along with access to study materials.
