Simulation-based
inclusion training

Inclusion can be strengthened at every step of the hiring and employment process. Our VR training pathways support organizations that are shaping workplace culture and hiring practices, as well as organizations that help job seekers prepare for and navigate employment opportunities.

Moving inclusion from theory into daily practice is a hands-on process, which is why our comprehensive inclusion training combines guided learning with immersive virtual reality (VR). Our simulations provide practical true-to-life experience navigating real-world hiring and workplace situations. Through scenario-based learning, participants develop skills, test strategies, and build confidence in a safe environment.

  • Unpacking Expectations and Biases: Strengthen job postings, interview practices, and hiring decisions by recognizing expectations and bias.
For settlement, employment-service, and workforce-development organizations

Training may include:

  • Interview Etiquette: Prepare for interviews, navigate professional interactions, and manage references.
  • Communication Skills: Practice answering interview questions and presenting skills and strengths effectively.
  • Advocacy Skills for Newcomers and Non-Dominant Cultures: Practice requesting accommodations and navigating cultural, religious, and technology-related barriers.

Why VR Training?

By combining guided instruction with realistic practice scenarios, VR training offers three key advantages:

  • A judgment-free space to practice

Participants can make mistakes, try different approaches, repeat scenarios, and learn from outcomes without fear of judgment.

  • Standardized and replicable learning

Every participant experiences the same scenarios and learning objectives, creating consistent training outcomes.

  • Perspective-shifting experiences

VR allows participants to experience workplace interactions from different viewpoints, helping deepen understanding of barriers, communication styles, and workplace expectations.

What does a session look like?

Our workshops are built to be practical and collaborative, combining guided training, virtual reality scenarios, and post-scenario debriefing. Each session accommodates up to 20 participants, ensuring everyone has enough time to experience the VR headsets and participate in the discussions.
